    You can print on almost anything. A typical printed and mailed postcard is done on 14 pt. uncoated cardstock because it’s easy to personalize with a written message. However, 14 pt. cardstock gloss creates a lovely sheen and might catch someone’s eye. Want to up the ante and drive the impact? Try 16 pt. cardstock gloss matte to send a premium message to your recipient and stand out from the crowd. Here are some other paper options:

The USPS has guidelines on the amount of space for the address and indicia, and while we can offer full-bleed images on one side, you want to ensure that all relevant information is well inside the margins.     Postcards can be made in almost any size, but in order to mail via USPS 1st Class postage they need to be:
    • 5″ to 4″ height
    • 5″ to 6″ width
    The following sizes don’t qualify for USPS 1st Class postage but can be priced out:

    What are some tips for creating an effective postcard?

    You want to catch your reader’s eye, so select vibrant colors that will stand out from the rest of the mail. We also recommend highlighting your primary message on both sides of the postcard since you never know which side the reader will look at first.
