    Handout Options

Impressive Trade Show Handouts that Get Noticed

Our advanced digital printing presses print your handouts at an affordable price (whether you need 50, 500, or 5,000 copies.) Trade show handouts not only impress, but they also help you get noticed. Added to your trade show signs and other customized trade show materials, your trade show handouts showcase who you are and what you've got to offer. Multiple-fold options help seal the deal on your trade show handout content, so it's easy for people to read and keep your materials on hand. They also look amazing on your trade show table with a stand.

    Creating Handouts

    Creating Effective Handouts

Trade show handouts are incredibly popular (and effective); your trade show handouts share your business info with style. New ideas, create product recognition or showcase your services with vibrant, high-quality handouts. We recommend including the following:
    • Business name
    • Phone number
    • Location
    • Hours
    • Delivery options
    • Location
    • Anything else that's relevant (services, tag line, offer)

    Printing Materials

Cover to cover, your trade show handout speaks volumes while still keeping things simple and easy for you to create. Flyer-style handouts printed on high-quality paper provide an elegant solution for a one-page (two-side options available too) option to attract attention to your business. Or consider enticing your customers with a more robust handout. Not your ordinary trade show handout; select a luxurious heavy paper on the cover that looks as good as it feels. The interior of your handout can be a lighter weight (but still very high-quality.) This look is aptly named a 12 pager plus cover, or, for the larger handouts, a 16 pager plus cover. Of course, you can use the same stock on the front and interior (FYI, pick a "self-cover" for this option.)

    Finishing Options

    Finishing Options

Imagine the possibilities and long-term marketing value with a fly-out page showcasing your products or services on an extra panel that folds out. It transforms your handouts into a three-panel spread, like a beautiful map of your products. Tear things up with a perforated page so your prospective job applicants at a job fair can provide their details right on the spot. Then, spruce things up with a UV coating, giving that extra layer of protection with a long-lasting, scratch-proof, smooth surface.

    Binding Options

    Binding Options

Sealing the deal with your multi-page handout (so it stays together) comes down to the folding and the binding. How many pages (panels) and how people will read your handout, are the deciding factors. Will it be a single, tri (letter), or tent fold? There's nothing standard about your trade show handouts, whether they're flat, folded or bound. Check out all your binding options:
    • Flat handout (flyer)
    • Single fold
    • Tri-fold (letter fold)
    • Tent fold
    • Gatefold
    • Accordion fold (Z-Fold)
    • Roll fold (barrel fold)
    • Parallel fold

You've probably never thought about this (that's what we're here for), but the most popular handout size of a tri-folded handout is a bit deceptive. But, we like to be open and honest. So, that tri-fold handout that looks like it's 8.5" x 11" is actually an 11" x 17" paper stock folded into a handout (or brochure) style. Your customized trade show handout is printed in full color on both sides and available with custom sizing to suit your needs. FYI, most businesses opt for 5.5" x 8.5" or 8.5" x 11", but do what's right for your business!

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What does saddle stitching mean?

It's time to saddle up. "Saddle stitching" means that two staples are holding your handouts together along the center edge. Do you want to know the secret? It's all in the number of pages; that's what determines the staple sizes. Ironically, some booklet-making equipment doesn't actually use staples but cuts wire and magically creates staples.

    Do I need UV coating?

It depends on how your customers handle your handouts. If your customers routinely thumb through them, it's worth it (and helps avoid the extra cost of replacing ruined handouts). Remember, most trade show attendees collect a lot of material during the event; you'll want your handouts to look good no matter how much they've been tossed around in bags and purses.

Do I have to order a large number of handouts?

Absolutely not! We specialize in print on demand: order only the number of handouts you need right now, then we can print more when you need them again. You can even make updates and get new handouts printed whenever you need them.
